I went from cox to at&t, then back to cox.
Uverse has a much better tv interface. Their internet, however, sucks. They also raise the price on you randomly, and unless you call and bitch they will keep going up.

I have Cox Internet and U-Verse TV. Best of both.

Agreed. I have ATT for both right now. The internet absolutely sucks arse and will lose connection way more than Cox ever did.
I'm switching Internet soon and will have Cox Internet and ATT cable.

Uverse, hands down. I've had it for about a year. If there was ever a problem they were out within hours to fix it. and the customer services is fanfrickingtastic

Opinions seem to be all over the place. Take aways so far:
AT&T is better for TV.
Cox is better for internet.
Haven't heard anything on phone but that's not terribly important.
Who has the best overall bundled service at the best price?

That's why they bought direct TV. Uverse is slowing down their internet speeds. Once they do away with Uverse the internet speeds will be much better.

You can bypass Cox internet (meaning you can keep the Cox internet) and get Uverse for TV.

Yes but the best price comes through bundling of services and I would prefer to not add another monthly bill payment.

channels don't broadcast in 1080p regardless of the carrier selling you the content, so you don't know what you're talking about.
you're either going to get 720 progressive or 1080 interlaced.

Switched to uverse last fall. I love the TV aspect of it. So many channels for much cheaper than cox. But recently been having internet issues. Guy is suppressed to come out this week. We'll see

I know quite a few people who can give you some nightmare stories about Uverse. That great price you are quoted wont last, I can guarantee you.
