then some of us would be able to properly prepare our own logistics

No offense, but if internet and cable access were so horribly dire for me like they seem to be for you, I'd have prepared my own logistics the day the internet went out. I certainly wouldn't have sat around waiting on it to come back for several days and then been mad that Cox didn't email me early enough.

In fact, I am currently at my office and was yesterday as well even though I prefer to be off the roads right now.. purely because they have internet and my home does not. Two days without internet told me everything I needed to know, without Cox's emails. I planned accordingly.

This isn't something you even have to leave town for, for the vast majority of people. The most extreme logistic you have is finding which coffee shop or friend's office you can work from each day. This is an entirely different situation than those people in homes with no AC right now, wondering if they should leave without a timeframe. This is TV and internet, which is working in plenty of places all around town.

this!!!

My husbands job requires internet and a bank of monitors so a coffee shop doesn't work. So we left and went to a hotel that has wired internet access and he has been working with no issues.

Well it worked until Monday after the storm had passed which was the reason I inquired, hoping maybe it was a hardware issue or something on my end.. like I’ve said… it’s not that big a deal in the grand scheme but that doesn’t change the facts that Cox should be better at this mainly in the realm of communication

Who said it was dire , not me, but Cox is in the public customer business, in fact the communication business at that, and it’s not some weird concept to desire communication from a communication company

As for me. I did prepare but att was down as well meaning changing course on that front as well

ou got an email today...funny I wonder why you didn't get one Monday immediately after the storm? Maybe it's because they were assessing damage, couldn't access some areas to assess damage, we're worried about their families, etc.
.

God you’re an emotional Pussy

An email Monday after the storm or Tuesday at worst from a utility company in the communication field explaining the basic outline of what needs to happen and that they will follow up daily with updates sure is asking a lot ..

Yeah, it is asking a lot dumbass. I'm sure they have far more important things to do right now than to worry about making sure an entitled little bitch like you knows what thier plan is. Any person with an inkling of intellect could discern that their "basic outline of what needs to happen" is simple. I'm willing to bet dollars to doughnuts their plan is pretty obvious: Get services restored as quickly as possible.

Not sure why you think you're so damn important that you need to have them tell you what you already fricking know? Do you want them to hold your hand while you squat to piss too? The hubris of a pussy like you is utterly insane.

Thank you! Someone with a brain finally chimes in. Its as if these entitled morons think all this stuff runs on unicorn farts and rainbows.

The issue is that AT&T has been up for days in the same areas where Cox is not. And Cox reporting “no issues in your area”. Seriously?
