I also wonder what's actually defined as "symptomatic"? I'd really only trust temperature.
So many things(allergies, etc) can cause mild symptoms. Slight cough, little tired, etc

No it isn’t. Not even in the same family.
However, Rhinoviruses are just one cause of the common cold. There are four major strains of corona viruses which are endemic prior to this outbreak that could cause it as well.
So you are right in that the test could be falsely identifying these other corona viruses. It definitely was an issue on at least one of these other studies
That being said....the numbers seem reasonable for it being a past infection if COVID-19

Or the tests are flawed to give false positives.
A nearby hospital (I won't name) administered +475 tests, the hospital tech's didn't freeze the damn samples resulting in the lab's inability to test the samples rendering them useless. Idiots!

So how is mishandling samples the same as, tests designed to give false positives?
Any way, we know the early on tests had a higher percentage of false negatives. But you know, China and who are frick heads.

He’s not saying what you think he’s saying.
He is saying those inmates didn’t really test positive for CV.
For the record I don’t agree with that. If they were nasal swabs for live virus I think they were accurate. I just question, with the recent out real at the jail, will most of them go on to develop symptoms.
If we aren’t doing case studies on situations like this it’s a massive missed opportunity.
