I see you've never been a smoker. Lighting up after dinner is standard

I understand that, but lighting up and hanging out for a bit when you're by yourself isn't exactly normal.

It's pretty normal if you don't smoke in your car.

Sure it is

I’m sure it was an honest mistake

They will realize what they did and make it right.

Seems odd to me. In all of my experiences with d&d, one person will go out and get the car, and then, when the server goes to the back, the other(s) will get up, quickly hop in the waiting car, and leave. Standing outside smoking just gives the server time to realize that the entire table is missing and come looking.

I was waiting for someone to post this on TD.

I was drunk and forgot to pay. I went by earlier this evening and took care of it. I explained to the manager what happened and all was forgiven.

If you’d delete this thread I would appreciate it.

Did you watch the entire video? They lit their cigarettes, strolled by the entrance again, then bounced in 25 seconds.

They're cool with stealing food but not cool with smoking in their car? I guess everyone had to draw the line somewhere.

I mean, yeah, that’s shitty but come on...this Leading the news? That’s a pretty normal dinner with drinks and not some exorbitant amount.

I'm sure they probably did dine and dash, but reading the thread title all I could of was that considering Walk On's prices, $100 is probably just enough for me to order entrees and still drink enough that I accidentally walk out without paying. It's not shite faced money by any means, but just buzzed enough to think, "wait, why are we still here?" and leave.

I get that, and I could be wrong, but I'd think hiding in plain sight is the best way to go. Tell the server you're going have a smoke then roll.

Confessions of A Drunk: I had an establishment in Dallas I frequented and would always forget to pay my tab so I just gave them my debit card number and they had it under the cash register.

When I got too loaded to pay it, picked up a chick or whatever they would just pull the numbers out and pay my tab + 25% Tip. for me being a pain in the arse

Until they hired some coke head stripper to bar tend and she hit me for $500 one night.

The good ole days

They don't seem like they are trying to sneak off or anything, so it's a little strange.

It always helps to act like you aren't suspicious though.. but they are really lounging around.. unless this footage was prior? Didn't read article, sorry.

They both bolt once they see no one is watching.

Again I didn't actually watch the video but maybe they went out to smoke, noticed that no one was paying attention, and then decided to bounce?

She was a tinder date

Look I’m not happy with what I did but it was an honest mistake. I told them it would never happen again. I feel bad enough as it is but now the news making it to TD really hurts.

OP please delete this thread please.
