The final report was just released today, hence why it is in the news again.
Answered your own question. "The final report was just released today" "it is in the news again."
A little off-topic, but I’ve always wondered- What in the hell is wrong with bumping an old thread?
This one isnt that old and it’s understandable since there have been new developments in the story... But just in general, lets say i find an interesting thread from 10 years ago and reply to get it going again- where is the problem?? I swear, people act like they are personally offended sometimes when a thread is bumped.. if anything, i sometimes find it interesting to see if a thread has aged well, if certain posters were completely right or wrong, etc.
Anyone care to explain this to me?

My theory:
The regulars (AKA people who are on here literally 24/7/365) and have >10 posts/day dont like old threads popping up on their home screen. They like to be IN the know at all times.q

As a firefighter/paramedic the amounts of wrecks I have worked from folks looking at phones and driving is staggering. I work fatalities due to drunk driving here and there. Often work them from someone on their phone, and that’s just the ones we know about.
