Is Gary Chambers out of jail? He could do it.
Also, couldn't be eat a shite ton of fruit? That wouldn't be too hard.

I'm not going to claim any credibility on this because I just don't know, but I have heard that when these competitive eaters do their big competitions very little of the food that they ingest actually gets digested. It's just too much for their bodies to handle, so it just mostly passes through their bodies in chunks. So maybe that is the saving grace of the poisonous amounts of sodium and sugar that would be passing through a person's body if this challenge is attempted. Though I do think that just the volume alone might be enough to kill someone.

I couldn't eat $1000 in 36 hours at either Ruth Chris or Morton's

A lot of water weight in the apples though.
The remaining fiber will be brutal though

I would not be able to do this. If I even tried I would probably feel like shite after.
Let's say I would spend as much as $8 on a meal at McDonalds.. $1000 worth would be 125 meals. If I ate McDonalds for lunch and dinner, every day, it would take me 62.5 days to eat $1000 of food from there.

I once ate 60 McNuggets in one sitting on a bet. I think that's about the best i could do. Side question: Do professional eaters get tested for weed as a performance enhancer?

5:1 really feels like terrible odds. I think this should be closer to 100:1 than 5:1.

I just don't see how it's possible. How much do those new fancy burgers I've seen them advertising cost?

$200 max on salads.
At least $300 on hot foods (fries, burgers, chicken). At least $50 of that has to be burgers!
Yes very easily. Renegotiate the price with Mcdonalds.
Pay 200 for 1 salad
Pay 300 for 1 chicken sandwich
Pay 500 for 1 burger

Their most price-dense food would probably be a chicken sandwich, and even then, $950 of them (still gotta buy $50 in burgers) would still require eating at least 1 sandwich every 15 minutes with no sleep.

I really tried to go through the menu and come up with a plan. There's simply no getting around the fact that you would have to eat nonstop for 36 hours. It's impossible.
7 days would be a more interesting conversation. Could you do it in a week? I think I could.

200,000 calories is over two months at 3,000 calories per day.

I don't want to eat $100 worth of McDonald's in the remainder of my life

$1,000 is not worth being fat as phuck during the summer with scantily clad, lovely smelling creatures around, even if by some act of Satan you pulled it off
