Dunno if it's good or bad when these threads are made an OP never responds to anything.

Seems like as the OT gets older, these threads have been more common.

Sounds like you're in a general funk and not anything specific troubling you.

Might want to try changing your diet. You'll feel better physically if you wean yourself off junk food and that can't hurt mentally.

Hang in there brother, faith is one key thing. God says he will not give you a cross you cannot carry. This too shall pass.

Other things to concider and friends here have pointed out:

- Exercise (walking if nothging else)
- Diet, try lowering your carb intake and eliminate most sugars and processed foods
- Medication, I was so against this for so long until I was diagnosed with OCD (very bad intrusive thoughts) and I finally broke down and tried an SSRI which was a game changer for me. This may or may not be for you but worth the discussion
- Good sleep, all the above can have an effect on this so fix those and get better sleep. Your mental health will benefit from this alone.

Prayers to you my friend, hang in there. Problems are temporary.

1. You are not alone.
2. Watch what you tell people (good and bad. People judge no matter what).
3. Move you body, don't let it stagnate.
4. Plan something YOU look forward to. A trip. A sit on the couch all day at watch retarded TV, buy something you want.
5. Read the bible.
6. Distract yourself. Find something you are interested in and go down a rabbit hole researching it.
7. Do something you don't like to do. Clean the house, go for a 5 mile run. Whatever it is. Struggle is sometimes good for the soul. Especially when the struggle is over and you "accomplished" it.

Say brah, the formula isn’t hard, but it takes discipline.

Get to the gym. Work out. Create achievable goals in the gym. Keep working to achieve those goals.

Downsize. Figure out ways to reduce your footprint. Save. Make your finances a priority.

If you are drinking, stop. If you are using other substances, stop.

Meet women. Every no is closer to a yes. Talk to women in the grocery store. Talk to women at church. Talk to women wherever you are.

Hang out with your buddies. If you don’t have buddies, go to a cigar shop and meet some buddies. Or maybe the gym, meet some there.

Read your Bible, the book of Job. God cares about you, he is always just a prayer away. Find a church and get active in it, there will be good people there that can and will help you.

Honestly, you need to shop around then until you find one that you like. There are ehhh ones, good ones, and there are great ones. The right one can make a huge difference.

Cats,

I think you can see that the OT cares and has been there. There are ups and downs in life. Be excited for the up that has not shown up.

1. If it’s a job find a new one.
2. If it’s financial read Dave Ramsey even though many don’t agree with him.
3. If it’s health do what you can to improve, diet, exercise
4. If it’s something else help others and you will see that you have it pretty good along with helping someone less fortunate.
5. Pick up a hobby you love

na, many of these posters are weak men. They cry about every little thing dude.

they make terrible decisions and then want everyone to feel sorry for them once the consequences start rolling in

i will 100% pray for the op, but not gonna feel sorry for them and act like this is normalized behavior as you get older. its not.

I am going to give you a couple of books by an author that I suggest that you check out. His name is Gary Zukav and the books are The Seat of the Soul and Universal Human. Start with the first one. It will give you a lot of insight into deep psychological and emotional mechanisms of human beings and how they operate. Listen to some of his YouTube videos and keep an open mind. Just keep taking it one day at a time. Find out who you really are and what makes you tick.

I dont even want to post this because i know how the OT is, but i know theres some good people out there.
The last 3 years have been a nightmare for me. I have had nothing go my way. I've lost about everything and keep getting hurt over and over. Every time I feel like life might turn around, I get ran over by something else. I have kept my faith, but don't even know if I'm loved or cared about. I pray all day every day and don't get anywhere. Lately I'm either crying myself to sleep or just numb. I'm starting to be angry to the ones I love and co workers and can't stop myself from doing so. I tried counseling and it didnt work. If I wasn't a Christian, I honestly dont think I would be here right now.
I've honestly hit rock bottom and I don't know how to get out and I don't feel that I ever will.

Any advice would be appreciated
TIA

Firstly and very importantly know that you are 100% not the only person going through this right this second.

Always keep the faith. Prayer is great but action must follow.

I don’t know what religion you are but have you tried talking to your pastor or a clergy member of the church you go to. It’s worth a try. And by the way GOD loves everyone. Sometimes it’s hard to see though
