Costco. Better quality, customer service and better deals in general.
Of course Costco actually has quality gas too where as Sam's sells gas with only the government minimum detergent levels.

For ease of shopping, Sam's. Coscto is always too busy where I am, while the Sam's club has self check outs and the scan and go app.

Sams bc of their Scan and Go App. Scan items as you shop with your phone, pay via the app, and then show the e-receipt at the door.

Regardless Costco has better quality, selection, and service overall.

No, it wasn’t. Costco is the name given to it around the time sams was founded. Price Club is the predecessor to Costco and was founded well before. Did a case study on them in business school. Sam Walton saw how well they did and in true Wal mart fashion couldn’t be outdone in the bulk sales market.

I do think Costco has the better products/meat/booze.
Sam's tends to carry more name brand items, but otherwise everything else seems a little inferior. Don't have a Costco around me anymore, but the ease of the scan and go app with Sam's makes it such a breeze. In some ways I'd choose Sam's over Costco for that reason alone.
