Did you even read the other link? Costco gas is one of their "top tier" gasolines.

Ok, yeah that would be worth it.
I never have time for Sams, even though we got the membership for the diapers at least. Just not convenient for me, so it's really money wasted.
But yeah, $.30 savings per gallon is definitely worth that.

Fwiw, I used to work at MSY fueling planes and when the truck would show up to deliver our fuel we were rarely the first stop. They would go to Shell, then Circle K, then us with the same fuel.

Well I'll be damned. I looked at the list of Top Tier gasolines, and Costco is listed. Should've looked before I posted before.

For those who don't click, Sams and Wal-Mart isn't considered top-tier gas.
I think they add the detergent on-site to the base gasoline. Some places even offer an added detergent at the point of sale (the pump).

Though sometimes you can find killer deals in there too. Last year when they had for one week their Snack Pack pudding 9-pack (36 total) for $4.99.. man I loaded up 15 cases of them bad boys.

While I was there yesterday, I picked up the Tequilla. 1 liter of Anejo 100% Agave for $19. Damn good for the price.
