What a shitty car. Beater is one thing, Geo Tracker is another. Get a Honda or something

I understand not buying a kid a new car, but safety should be of some importance. I would rather buy a kid a high mileage car built in the last 10 years than to put them on the road in a tin can like that.

Your daughter will hate you. A tracker lol. Why not a 10 year old high mileage accord that is actually safe?

If you don't own it already don't buy it. If you own it sell it take 1k that you were going to pay for a decent paint job plus the 1.5 k for selling and add 1 more k and she can have a car that she will want to drive.

Not a baller by any stretch but my daughters first car was an S60 that still runs 5 years later and we paid 5k plus the extras for an 07 in 14. Maintenance wasn't too bad either.

Look up monstaliner.

They make tinted colors. Do it that way.

If you are interested in a full 2in exhaust with a new cat and magnaflow, I have one up on the shop wall I'll sell for cheap.

Just get a few cans of spray paint and let her and her friends paint it.

The frame and driveline are overbuilt to a fault. The door pillars are beyond overbuilt.

I'm not saying getting broad sided its gonna be tbe safest, but in a roll over... They perform really well.

Why would you put your daughter in a death trap?

Seriously, get something halfway safe.

They may have been safe for their day. No car from 20 years ago is going to be as safe as the shittiest car from today.

Stand by my statement.

Even a Volvo from that era is not going to compare. It isn't saying they are inherently unsafe, just a testament to how far the safety standards have come in that time.

It's a geo tracker, I wouldn't put money into painting it.
