2 bay windows - plantation shutters quoted 2k
Yep when I bought my house they were already in but I'm sure there are at least 10-12k in plantation shutters in here.

Tried quoting prices off just blinds and blinds.com that are similar. Wife coming at me like a spider monkey over the phone. Really wants this blind woman to come up in our home and install these blinds. Looks like my wallet loses.
Tell her to have the woman do the ones in the kitchen, and you'll do the rest since she'll never see them anyway.
Let us know how that goes.

I can tell you who did ours, if you like.
She's in Mandeville, but she did a great job on our old house, office and new house.

We used Blindster.com
The quality is good but not great. Great will cost you a ton and I don't plan on taking these with me when I move. Anyway, we got multiple roman shades, one of which was quite large (108" wide) and we spent around $600.
They have a few manufacturers in Texas, so we got them relatively fast. Also, customer service was outstanding. We had a stich pop which caused the big shade to sag. They sent us a new shade, no questions asked.
Anyway, check out the site with the window measurements and work up some quotes. We've been happy with them.
Again, not top quality, but look nice and work fine. It's just a farking window, after all.

Try gotcha covered. They come out and measure for free and give a quote. We don't have any wood blinds, but the plantation shutters were actually pretty decently priced. Under 1000 each IIRC. The roman shades etc we did elsewhere were very reasonable. They commonly run a 30% off promo. We used the one in lafayette, but website says there is a location in Baton Rouge.
Also wood blinds are a bitch to clean. Oh wait this is OT. You probably have house staff.

I have 9 windows = $600 bucks for the faux wood.
And are you a woman, hang that shite yourself.
