I worked at American Eagle sometime around 2002-2003. I also worked at Gordon's Jewelry soon after that.
People stole so much from American Eagle it was crazy. There was a group of girls know as "the cortana girls" that would steal stuff and return it for cash. One time they brought their bag with of stolen merchandise to return and when they emptied the bag on the counter it was halfway filled with Popeye's chicken bones.
