That machine processed some 60,000 pounds of plastic shortly thereafter, so most of the tissue would have been worn away pretty fast
People need to understand this is a factory/warehouse operating large heavy machinery. This isn’t some guy putting some stuff into his paper shredder. It would happen quickly, quietly, and with a small amount of initial mess that gets cleaned up more and more every second the machine runs.
As for smell, do you know what the difference smells like between ground chicken and a chicken breast? Why would anyone smell decomposing if there is no body to decompose, especially minutes/hours after the incident. There is no smell for this, especially in a factory that probably smells like plastic.

While I absolutely agree, what I don’t understand is this isn’t 1970 and generally there are an abundance of safety precautions take to prevent someone ‘slipping and falling in’. So how did he go in? Killed first and thrown in?

Asking a lot of that shredder for his fatass.

The smell alone would’ve tipped someone off
After shredding the plastic is dehydrated to further erode the material.
Therefore after shredding this guy was evaporated. As we know the vast majority of a human is water.

So the people that work at this facility don't clock in and out? Something doesn't add up here, and not just the pieces of this poor guy!

Seeing as they knew the shredder was his last known location, I’m guessing he didn’t clock out.

Fair enough. So then why not investigate the facility the next day, not a month later.

. I imagine all his pieces would not be in and around the machine but mixed in with the batch of plastic that was being processed at the time. Not sure if that is in any way recoverable but needs to be checked out.
Wasn’t that the premise of Chucky 3?
