I don't think it is a hoax at all, but so much that people are doing doesn't make sense.

I'm young, so the way they'd treat it if I had it doesn't really vary. Today, I started feeling crummy and I'm running around 99.4 fever.

I told my friends, who have been all over BR bars/restaurants/on vacations the past 2 months,and now they are now changing their tune, "Why aren't you getting tested tomorrow?! I saw you 4 days ago! I may need to tell my roommates."..

If you are concerned you might have it and pass it to someone, waiting on me to take a test this week and then wait X days for my results before you take your own test and inform your roommates is probably 15 total days since you saw me and we'd all be healed.

Strange to me people are relying on someone else to be tested rather than going themselves and cutting the middle man, and I mean that directed at businesses to with their odd tactics that are just for appearances.

Was fine, went out to lake on party barge drinkin. 2 days later 100.4 fever and on his arse with flu like.

Gets tested, in er 3 days later before test come back. On vent 48 hours later. Been in it for over a week now.

Edit. Yes his size is exacerbating things no doubt. And thats on him. Still, a legitimate virus that is contagious and kills people. Whats weird is, he has close family that had it as well and didnt miss a beat. Same blood type.

So youre saying he'd be in ER on vent right now if Corona hadnt ever gotten here?
