An Italian priest infected with coronavirus gave up a respirator his parishioners bought for him to a younger patient — and then died from the deadly bug, according to reports.
The Rev. Giuseppe Berardelli, 72, refused to take the respirator while in a hospital after finding out the other patient — who was a complete stranger — also needed it, according to the BBC.
The main priest in the town of Casnigo died last week in Lovere hospital, the broadcaster said, citing hospital officials.
He was one of at least 60 priests who died in Italy this month as the European nation was the epicenter of the deadly pandemic, according to the Catholic News Agency.

Is there a legitimate argument for not trying to mimic the South Korea model once we have testing infrastructure by say, end of this week?
Haven't seen a whole lot on that. Presuming experts think its already too widespread here in the US given our 6 week delay.

I'll be the idiot that admits I don't know what this stands for.
Is that not clear for resuscitation?

There will be some touching, inspiring, heartbreaking and eye opening and perhaps award winning documentaries come out of Italy when this is all over.

Stands for naive case fatality rate. It is simply the number of confirmed deaths divided by the number of confirmed cases. It doesn't correct for any of the known biases in the data. If anyone is interested in more info on CFRs and biases then this is a good place to start - LINK

Got a question that I don't know if it was posted.
Question, the people that are dead from the crap, what are they doing with the bodies when it comes to planting them? Cremate or, are they letting the family use a casket?
Oh, one more. How long with the crap stay in a dead persons body alive?

Trump repeating on FOX right now that the country needs to re-open.
Said we'll revisit at the end of his 15 day period and he might "extend" it a little bit, but reiterated this:

We need to re-open the country...We have to go back to work. Much sooner than people thought. People can go back to work and also practice good judgement.

He's just saying that to try to boost the stock market. We ain't "re-opening" anytime soon.

Should be case fatality rate= deaths/positive
As opposed to mortality rate= deaths/population

I think he's going to add 7 more days at the end of his "15 days to stop the spread", which ends on Monday/Tuesday next week.
Then after that 7 additional days we open up businesses at 50% capacity, while communicating guidelines that vulnerable population should remain in isolation until further notice.
ETA:
Also, if he keeps saying this, you're right, the market will respond. The DOW is up 8.5% today.
