I have a hard time believing China's death numbers. Italy is closing in on them pretty fast.
I have a hard time believing anything China right now as it's apparent they have stopped reporting real numbers. If they ever did.

BREAKING: Italy reports 3,233 new cases of coronavirus and 349 new deaths, raising total to 27,980 cases and 2,158 dead

About 350. (Seriously, they are getting slammed.)

If Italy had handled this whole thing better, I wonder if the level of panic here would be much less?

So with a few states shutting down gyms, restaurants, etc we should expect this to come down to Louisiana? Probably this week?

They're somewhere around 1000 dead in the past three days.

Also hearing the buzz about a possible 14 day quarantine. Maybe statewide, maybe just the SELA hot zone. May not happen at all, but is def. under discussion.

I would expect Louisiana to follow suit this week.

Didn't italy shutdown basically everything two weeks ago and the bodies are still piling up. We did the samething here in the US (or haven't still). I feel like we are all playing this silly game of slowly shutting things down even though our eventual outcome is right is our face from other countries.

349, 368 the day before and high 200's the previous day (going on memory on that day).

March 9th. One week ago today.

the deaths arent necessarily the scary thing here as time to death was 2-8 weeks, whats bad is they are still seeing rises in cases every day even 7 days after.

Italy is old, Italy also smokes.
The US is younger by percentage
The US has fewer smokers by percentage
The US has a lower population density
Going to the store for more toilet paper now, BRB.
