You are just determined to show how completely ignorant you are about this shite.

Well that 3rd ranked healthcare system is getting ravaged while the UK, Denmark, Germany and several other European countries are handling this much better.
It's almost as if you glossed over and didn't read or didn't comprehend the reasons that were laid out showing why northern Italy has been hit so hard.

I don't understand this statement.
No hospital on the planet is going to willingly hold up an ICU bed for a stable medicine patient.

Italy has 38% of cases above 70
SK has 9% above 70
We know it’s significantly more deadly to older individuals even going all the way back to Chinese data.
This is accounting for the majority of the difference in mortality.
I’m not sure how anyone would deny that.

Italy’s data shows the same as ours at the moment - if this thing finds the right batch of old people in a high enough concentration it’ll wreak havoc.
South Korea’s distribution points were a (supposedly) cult-like church and a mental hospital. Church is attended by those healthy enough to show up, and anyone who’s gone on more than 2 dates can attest that crazy knows no age.

There are currently 10 coronavirus patients in the US that are considered to be in critical condition.

I'm just wondering how many ICU beds you believe we need available in the US. The data right now points to 1% of the confirmed infected.

NBA cancellation was probably in response to no fans, initially. Better to postpone the season than refund tickets and still have to pay players for non-guaranteed funds.
I think the NBA was considering either playing with no fans or putting the season on hold for a few weeks.. Then when Rudy Gobert tested positive, that's when they decided to stop things for the season.
Yesterday, while everything was getting canceled it seemed like it was all "too much", but I understand the decisions to cancel all of the sporting events for the season. Its not something they want to do because they will lose a lot of money, but this is short term. Its best to be safe now than to wait until this stuff spreads like wildfire and it have a more long term impact.

well if ppl need ventilators or whatever we do not have enough ready to go.
point is, as great as our health Care is here we are not equipped to handle an outbreak.

USTA has canceled the rest of spring season and playoffs. Metro and TCD will likely follow today. I have no choice but to self isolate now.

We're handling an outbreak right now. It's going fairly well compared to other countries.
