All I have a feeling about is that it will get worse before it gets better.

You are most contagious before you know you have it, genius. This isn't like "most viruses", but continue on with your shitty troll.

Well just got the orders to work from home for the next two weeks.

I see you and the person right above posted that around the same time. Did the CDC put out some new guidance on suggesting everyone should work from home if possible?

Our U.S. division said they were following the CDC on making a decision to send us home or not.

It gets better. ell is in “Nuclear Cyber Security”.

Let’s use his reasoning here.

ell why are you worried about a cyber nuclear disaster? There has never been a cyber nuclear disaster, sounds like your entire career is based on fear mongering. Yea computers get hacked, but let’s be serious no one has ever hacked a nuclear system and they couldn’t do anything even if they did. You need to calm the frick down and quit your job before you get everyone in a panic.

Italy shut down everything because all of the dying 80 year olds were clogging up their shitty system and they were struggling to take care of regular people. See, they have lots and lots of 80 year olds there.

That is simply not true. I just received word that my second largest client may be shutting down all of their projects for the time being due to COVID-19. This trend may very well continue across industries and a lot more than the travel industry will be heavily impacted.

Already seeing the effects here as well with work that was previously committed to being put on hold. The economic impact is going to be huge.

Can’t really argue with you there.

But I am also not real interested in pushing the limits of our system.

Plants have data diodes that let zero network traffic in to certain systems. Other areas have allowed access based on safety and system needs. You see, there’s reasonable responses and configuration to allow for the operation of the plant every day. It continues on even as attacks exist, which there have been. Look up stucksnet.

So you're saying the incubation period, rate and ease of spread is the same as other viruses? If so you are incredibly misinformed. Oh wait, you're just a punk bitch troll, I forgot. Get the frick out of here clown.

I have a question about this thing for anyone in this thread. I didnt want to start another thread when 95% of the board is corona related.

If a person has the virus, for how long is it contagious. Is is still contagious even if you are no longer showing symptoms? Cuz at the beginning of the week I had what felt like a common cold. Your run of the mill fever, slight headache, slight cough, runny nose. I stayed home from work for 2 days to be safe. No need to go to doctor cuz it was pretty routine and nothing severe at all. And i really could have worked the 2nd day, but my supervisor told me to go head and take the 2nd day to make sure Im 100%.

Now im wondering if i did somehow havr the corona, then did it not matter that I stayed home 2 days if I went to work afterward because it could still spread.
