All this shite "closing" and "don't go to work", "shut down the schools"....yet we don't give two fricks about the flu and go about our daily lives like any other... shits getting old quick. 95% of the people had no more symptoms than they felt they had a bad cold, allergies, or a MILD case of the flu. Man we are so easily driven by media and fear. Lord help our ignorance. Yes a lot of us is gonna get it. Yes more people probably have already had it and gotten over it without even knowing what it was. Guess what......its like the flu we probably get it again next season. May have in the past and don't even know it. Yall stop and go your arse to work and school. Eat a handful of dirt build your immune system and stop whining.

This is is a high IQ post.

You're not wrong.

Still, this explains why washing after that deuce is important (as if you needed to be told).

This is the most rational thing I've seen written on this shite yet:

Based on what we know today, I don’t see the damage as being that extensive. First, when you look at the new cases, you can see that they are not exploding but are holding fairly steady around the world. If you look at the number of active infections, you can see that number dropping. The disease itself seems to be moving toward “under control” status.

That direction might change, of course, but the best place to look when trying to determine what is likely to happen is China itself. China is where the disease emerged first and where it is farthest along. In China, the disease seems to be largely under control. That does not mean we will not see more cases around the world. It does imply that control is both possible and achievable, which is substantially different from what the headlines are saying.

The issue with that is China placed quarantines on entire cities. Quarantines that the WHO described as effective, but barbaric.

Unfortunately those types of quarantines arent possible in the US. Youre going to have the anti vaxxer crowd screeching about how it isnt any worse than the flu and people will start rioting.

Its interesting. In a potential pandemic like this it seems that a powerful central government is key to limiting the outbreak.

Geez comrade, tell me how upset you are the soviet union fell? If you want to stay home to ensure you dont get sick, you can. This is a free country and nobody is stopping you from doing that. The govt should not lock in its citizens

I’m not saying don’t travel if you need to for work or important shite but until it gets under control, maybe postpone vacation plans so as not to put yourself and others at risk.
F that. Have you even looked at airline prices lately? Sinking like a 737 Max. About to pull the trigger on a quick trip to NYC next weekend to see some broadway shows and a week in France next month to drink all their wine

Will still have OTrs on here openly admit they never wash their hands after they pee cause their dicks are “clean” so they don’t need to.

Yeah good plan until Broadway shuts down. I don't think this is the apocalypse but I think a lot of people looking for great travel deals are going to be disappointed when they get to their location and all the major tourist shite is closed along with a good number of restaurants, etc.

The US will make it through this as we always have. I just think you cant expect the US to be able limit the outbreak like China has. Its the downside of being free.

Guys....I woke up yesterday morning with a pretty bad sore throat and I feel like it is morphing into a bad cold.

I have no fever, no respiratory pain/shortness of breath, and only slightly sluggish

I’m in California where the virus is probably all over the place. Is there a chance I might have it or does it sound more like just a seasonal head cold?
