WHAT.
I think that is likely utter bullshite.
There was more that I couldn't post/didn't want want to make an even larger wall of text.
Here is some more:

Preparedness for pandemic: He says that he cannot clearly answer the question he is frequently asked, as to whether the country and the healthcare system is "prepared" for this pandemic. Instead he can only ask a counter-question - what time-frame are we talking about? The main and most important question we are facing, according to him, is how quickly the pandemic will spread until 60-70% of the population will get infected and herd immunity is established. He says it is a crystal-clear consideration: If it only takes one year to reach the large numbers of infections mentioned above, then we'll have a problem due to the well-known limitations of healthcare resources. If it takes two years, "we will not have a big problem" [he says how the notion of 'problem' is defined is another matter].
We've seen from others that they expect this to infect significant portions of the population ranging from 30-70% with the only big question is how long to reach those numbers.

Just jumped on a flight to Atlanta.
Saw a handful of people wearing masks in the airport. Def odd seeing Americans wearing them... used to seeing it in Asia, but def looked different here.

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — A Northern California patient, one of two local residents who fell ill with coronavirus after returning from a round-trip cruise between San Francisco and Mexico, has become the state’s first death from the illness.
Officals said the patient who died was a 71-year-old adult male.
At an afternoon press conference, Dr. Christopher Braden, Deputy Director of the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said there was “a cluster” of potential coronavirus patients on the cruise ship.
“There are a number of other people who have been identified with some type of symptoms that are undergoing testing now,” he said. “That information will be updated as we know more.”

The North American Seafood Expo in Boston was cancelled. Was supposed to occur in a couple weeks. This is a massive trade show that takes up the entire Boston convention center.

At this point there is no stopping the virus. Our only hope is the warm weather gets rid of this virus.

We are all going to get this, right?
I now know people quarantined in NYC and one of them was out of town on business last week so he gave it to several people if he had it.

I think it is inevitable that we all get this. Now what the body count will be I don’t know.

With more and more small reports of people that came down with this, it looks like the cat is out the bag.

Doesn't seem like it is that high. Especially if all these people have it with no symptoms.
Death seems higher amoung people that actually show symptoms, if that makes sense beyond the obvious.

Interesting, but not entirely unexpected, that the sheer stupidity of the human race is what leads to things like this thinning the herd.
