He's acting like its not well documented what happened. It is extremely well documented. We know what happened.

She knows what happened.

She gave a long, extremely detailed report to police where no crimes were committed, because she got disinvited to a halloween party and was exposed as the campus whore.

She then, 2 years later, changed her story for money...by the way, she is NOT suing any of the guys. Do people know that?

You asked me a question and I answered, if you consider that going on about something, that’s a new problem.

But again, to answer, I think it’s a shame to set morality standards in a line with legality. What happened in that fraternity house doesn’t have to be illegal to be predatory and incredibly poor judgment

I think those boys displayed a lack of morality that I personally find disgusting and disturbing. If I had a son in that room, I would be ashamed and disappointed in the man that I had been raising.

None of this makes those boys rapists and none of this absolves Jane Doe but you don’t have to be a rapist to be morally corrupt.

Who died and made you the morality police?

So did they rape her or not according to you?

Because not matter how smart or dumb you are, it's human nature to believe it's never going to happen to them.

Ok so what.

Your own personal morals are irrelevant, even if I agree in that regard. Because mine are irrelevant too.

They are being accused of fricking RAPE and having their lives completely ruined. Two of the guys that aren't even accused of doing anything tried to show up to campus and got harassed so much they had to leave

This is about legalities not your own personal code of morals

same as I told you yesterday. Because the role of a protector, whether referring to the Bible or any thriving society in the history of our planet, is accepted by men of high character and morals. It is the responsibility of those men to protect themselves and others from harm, even when it means protect protecting them from themselves.

It’s not a responsibility that is accepted by those of low morals and weak character and that is my criticism of them.

Does it make them rapists. It does make them morally, corrupt and weak in character.

The Duke players denied sexual intercourse occurred, and there was no evidence to prove it.

In the Cornell case, sexual intercourse has been established already. But I don’t know the details on how many guys’ DNA would be present.

This is bizarre shite. Your own personal code of morality is completely irrelevant

They are being accused of RAPE. They got fired from jobs and are out of school

The incredibly biased NY AG is now going to ruin their lives further

All for a complete lie

Sorry, but I don’t give a shite what value you put on my personal views on the character of the boys in that room. If you don’t care, stop asking questions. Just down boat and move on.

I know you weren’t involved in yesterday’s conversation so I don’t expect you to know everything I said, but I’m not claiming to argue for or against their legal innocence or guilt
I don’t find it, particularly difficult to separate the legality and morality issue, but for some people, it is a bigger problem than it is for me.

if it’s so irrelevant why do you keep commenting? Why do you keep asking questions? Just download and move on or ignore it and move on. You and I don’t have to discuss the same thing for my view to be relevant or not.

Is it more moral to be a willing participant in a gangbang or to ruin the lives of those willing participants with lies because you got shamed? Your selective morality says a lot about you.

These are the kinds of posts you make when you realize you've been owned by logic. Talk about downvotes while you're it

I’m not defending the woman at all, I’m just not defending the boys. Big difference but I haven’t really given it any thought as to what morally corrupt action is worse.

Because what you are saying makes no logical sense, it is not germane to the discussion.

It is the typical Zoomer "I am the center of the universe" argument

This case is about LEGAL matters. It is about RAPE.

We know, without question, that the allegations in her civil suit differ wildly from what she told the police, and what she discussed with friends, and what she texted and snapchatted

That is what this is about.

The judgement on the moral character of the boys is not relevant.

Owned by logic? What logic is that? The logic that everything I’m saying is irrelevant and doesn’t matter yet you and your boyfriend can’t stop talking about it?

Well, this is dumb.

She is accusing them of RAPE.

Once a crime of that magnitude is alleged, once they have their lives completely ruined, the only issue is:

Did they rape her? And if not, it is perfectly ok to "defend them" even if you don't like that college kids had sex.

Everything you say is not irrelevant.

Your disdain for college kids having sex and doing drugs is however in this case.

Because the issue is not whether what they did was immoral, certainly it is.
