Cliffs
I don't blame them for being suspicious. I'm suspicious of just about everyone.
So, "I smell something" = DUI charge now?
You'd think it would be over now and she'd be free to go.
Well looks like you were wrong. Surely its over now, right?
Doubling down, as usual.
Well frick that was pretty extreme. Didn't find anything so I guess we'll go find something else to do. Wait, nope.
Game. Set. Match, right? Oh, of course not. Nothing better to do than to repeat the vaginal and anal probings.
Damn dude, you call yourself a doctor?
The end.

About 15 minutes after the stop, Police Chief Robert Salem and Lawrence County District Attorney Joshua Lamancusa arrived at the scene, where they grilled Monette about her companion and asked her whether she had any drugs. She said she didn't, but they did not believe her.

claiming to smell the odor of burnt marijuana coming from Carbone's car, Maiella arrested her on suspicion of driving under the influence. He did not administer a roadside sobriety test

he later obtained a warrant to search her car. Neither search discovered any contraband.
You'd think it would be over now and she'd be free to go.

At the Lawrence County Correctional Center, Carbone was forced to remove her clothing, "bend over, spread her buttocks, and cough." Carbone says two corrections officers, April Brightsue and Niesha Savage, mistakenly thought they saw a plastic bag protruding from her vagina, so they repeatedly instructed her to "prod her personal areas by inserting her fingers into her vagina" in the hope of dislodging the imaginary item. Then they had her bend over, spread her buttocks, and cough again.
Well looks like you were wrong. Surely its over now, right?
quote:
they instructed him to take Carbone to Jameson Hospital in New Castle for "an internal examination of her body cavities." At the hospital, the cops found a doctor, Bernard Geiser, who agreed that Carbone needed treatment "for a possible overdose, rectal packing and/or oral intake of a controlled substance." But Carbone did not consent to "treatment,"
Doubling down, as usual.
quote:
Carbone "was restrained to a bed by her wrists and ankles" as Geiser "performed an internal inspection of her vagina and rectum." He did not find anything. When Carbone said she needed to urinate, she was instructed to do so by squatting over a bedpan on a chair. No foreign objects were found in the bedpan, and no drugs were detected in her urine .
Well frick that was pretty extreme. Didn't find anything so I guess we'll go find something else to do. Wait, nope.

she was subjected to an involuntary CT scan, which found no foreign objects.
Game. Set. Match, right? Oh, of course not. Nothing better to do than to repeat the vaginal and anal probings.
quote:
Still determined to discover contraband, Geiser "performed a second internal examination of [Carbone's] vagina and rectum,"
Damn dude, you call yourself a doctor?
quote:
then instructed two nurses to perform a third. They also swabbed her vagina "for testing." After none of these inspections turned up evidence of a crime, Maiella told Carbone she was free to go.
The end.

The criminal justice system in some parts of this country is freaking screwed. This is atrocious for someone to have to go through that.
Posted on 4/13/16 at 9:45 pm to Asgard Device
Where were these cops when I was a criminal?
Posted on 4/13/16 at 9:46 pm to Asgard Device
Damn. I wish some hot nurses would check me that good. Lucky.
Posted on 4/13/16 at 9:46 pm to Asgard Device
That is pretty fricked up.
Posted on 4/13/16 at 9:47 pm to Asgard Device
Why didn't the cops just plant some of that deadly weed on her and call it a day?
Posted on 4/13/16 at 9:47 pm to Asgard Device
That bitch was guilty as hell and I know she's got them drugs hid somewhere. Gotta get them drugs off the street
Posted on 4/13/16 at 9:48 pm to Asgard Device
Payday! I'd let them do that to me for 250-500K

We'll all be paying for her imminent retirement from the working world.

Hold on lemme look up her butthole just one more time

The police chief and DA were on the scene. They obviously wanted to harass this lady for some petty, small town bs. She gonna get paid.

Maybe I read his comment wrong.

Everybody involved in this should be taken out back and shot in the head.
Posted on 4/13/16 at 9:57 pm to northshorebamaman
The taxpayers will be paying for the settlement she receives.

The hospital is going to get sued as well. It's crazy to think that there are doctors that are this dumb and reckless. Im most curious to see what happens to the doctor. He was completely manipulated by the police and showed zero regard for the "patient."

This is a terribly horrific story.

The one in New Mexico was actually worse. They probed the shite out of that guy. I think every non-cop involved got fired though. They even got rid of the judge that signed off on the warrant, from what I recall.
