re: Cops really piss me off sometimes

For those saying I "whipped out my pistol", I did not. I made it home from work before she did and I took my pistol out of my truck and set it on my bed like I do every single day. When I get home I transfer my gun from my truck to my bedside. So it was out when she came home just like it is every day.
Second, if she called the cops and told them I was armed, they would have at least asked me if I was armed when I went home.
Third, the a-hole did tell me that he better not catch my truck on the road after last night because my inspection sticker has been expired since August.
Fourth, for the record I do not live in Baton Rouge, I do know the town officials, I'm not saying the town in which I live, and i also don't live in a trailer.
Fifth, I was shocked as well when the city cops pulled out first, then the parish police, then the last 2 cops to leave were state troopers.

$10 too much for you to fix this problem?

Sounds like you either did something you aren't telling us or your told the cops you threatened her with a gun or something. Typically the cops don't give e two fricks who is right or wrong and they often feel for the dude if the chick is a lying bitch but it sounds like you did something to puss someone off. I also highly doubt it was 8 cops (there are less cops actually on the road then what ppl think and rank wouldn't allow that many for just an escort). Blame your gf (ex gf) or yourself, not the cops. They just go off what they are told.

I'm just reading this. I highly doubt you just conveniently had a weapon laying on the truck when she got home. Def more to the story. You can email me your name, address, item number, and the department and I will post the call for service details and narrative if you want and we can settle this. Also, the Sheriff's Office definitely got a crime in progress or life threatening situation call for your SO to request assistance from State and PD.

Dude cleaning your gun, or having it out at all, when you and your EX-gf are fighting is just retarded. You both sound a little nuts so it's probably better to just move on.

So, to recap:
1. You're not mature/responsible enough to own a gun without worrying people.
2. You're not mature/responsible enough to get your truck inspected within 5 months of it expiring
3. Cops are assholes.
It's all becoming clear.......

Then go get a new inspection sticker so the cops can't hassle you over it. What's the deal with La. people not getting their cars inspected?

I'm just surprised you let that crazy bitch in your place by herself. She probably took some of your shite...

You are just a dumbass plain and simple. Might be a nice dumbass, but one nonetheless.
Almost an identical situation occurred ten years ago with my grandmothers next door neighbor. He and his GF got into a dispute and he conveniently decided that was the appropriate time to clean a firearm. She grew concerned and walked to my grandmothers house to call the police to come and assist her in gathering her belongings.
Two cops were there within five minutes. The boyfriend decided that his "cleaning" exercise needed to be moved from inside the home to the carport. Upon arrival, and seeing the man with a firearm, they pulled their guns and instructed him to lay aside the weapon. Instead of complying, he instead started firing on them. One was killed almost instantly, suffering a head shot. The man then barricaded himself inside the home. SWAT showed up expeditiously and so began an 8 hour standoff that resulted in the boyfriend being shot in the head and killed while trying to breathe fresh air by sticking his head out of a window on the back of the home. They had deployed several tear gas cannisters into the home moments before. My brother, who was living with my grandmother at the time gave me the play by play on the phone as snipers were set up at different points in and around her yard and had the entire street shut down. I couldn't even get to her house as desired because they were not allowing anyone into the area.
I knew this dude for years and always seemed like a nice fella. He helped my grandmother with raking, mowing or anything else she needed. Pretty tragic results both for him and the cop.
So yeah, perhaps brandishing a weapon after a dis-agreement is a pretty dumbass and provocative thing to do for anyone, regardless of whether your intentions were purely for "relaxation" purposes only. Instead of blaming the cops for doing their job, maybe you should learn to use better judgement in your own actions henceforth.
Good day sir.

Well cannot expect much from BRPD due to they are not trained very well. Not much difference between a security guard and BRPD except the badge and bad attitude.
Now when I worked for a real dept we would send 2 cars which is 4 officers to a so called domestic dispute if it was that. Hated these calls because they can be dangerous. My first year we did lose an officer responding to a domestic dispute, so you got to proceed with caution not knowing what is going on. We would separate both parties and try to find out what is going on. Typically the woman would leave and we would leave after that.
Now I seen a few times some of these women beat the living crap out of their husbands. Like whipped their butt and the girl 5'0 and guy like 6'0. Some of these women are just as crazy as the guys. Don't hear about it as much.
Again when you deal with BRPD which is a poorly trained force don't expect professionalism.

I figured you didn't live in BR.
I have never seen a deputy or trooper show up to a BR city call, unless its an officer needs assistance call.

Brpd officers are POST certified like all other officers in this state and that is far more thn security guard training. Where did you work that has two officers per unit? Nopd is the only dept left, in this area, that I can think of that has two man units and not every unit is that way. I believe you are full of crap.

Just for the record, apparently the incident did not take place in BR, thus BRPD would have not been involved here....
