Cops and game warden type shows

This will sound like I'm an arrogant prick and maybe I am but who the hell watches this stuff who has beyond a high school education?
My step son is 35 and red neck as hell and watches them constantly. He is staying with us recovering from surgery and wants this stuff on all the time. It drives me nuts. Its not educational, not funny, no intrigue, no mental stimulation....total shite. Why???

The game warden shows are nice to veg out too and I watch them because I like the outdoors. It’s also funny to see how far people will go to get out of a citation or in deeper trouble.
