It had nothing to do with race

Both types are more likely to be carrying drugs, which shouldn't be a crime. One of the types are harmless little fairies who will cry to daddy when confronted but the other type might actually fight back. Ends poorly for the cop just about every time.
They should just let drugs slide.. fixes 99% of the problems.

Clothing is an excellent indicator of which subculture an individual is in. Which has a whole lot to do with how that individual handles confrontation.
