Authorities are offering a $46,000 reward for information leading to Wiggins' arrest.

Turned out to be a medevac of my cousin's daughter-in-law.
Parents heard a large boom much earlier and an ambulance was there but officer(s) showed up at my parent's locked gate when my mom looked outside to see what the helicopter was doing and was asked to unlock the driveway gate.

The large boom was from the daughter-in-law throwing gas on some burning wood in a fire ring. Police dropped a flare and landed at my parent's property and brought the girl to the helicopter.

Close. Probably not a good time to point a laser at the cockpit or stand around outside waving your rifle around.

I'm going to guess that since you don't hear the hounds and no LEO has come knocking that they are just lighting the place up, and they don't actually think he's at the location.

WTF? Don't they have FLIR? Lots more effective at finding someone than a spotlight.

What?

I'd be out in the woods huntin' his arse. I'd throw his dead body on the back rack rack of my 4-wheeler and drive it to the police station to collect my reward.

So, what's the OT's strategy here?

Leave all the house lights on or all the lights out?

If all of the lights are on, he'll definitely see the house. He may think people are up and watching and stay away.

If the lights are off, he may see it with the full moon and think they're sleeping and try to break in.

If it's me, I leave the lights off and collect the reward when he tries to break in.

Whatever the strategy is - control the light.

I believe if you go to your bathroom and look into that glass thingy that hangs on the wall above the sink that you will see him hiding in plain sight !

That's what I'm thinking.

In a lighted house, you can't see shite outside, and they can see in.

In a darkened house with a full moon, it's the opposite. Plus you have a flashlight to blind his arse.

Light the exterior, no lights inside. Bad guys don't like lights

A damn shame this isn’t taking place during a highly traffic OT time, but then again it taking place at night is a big reason it’s so intense

Wish we had some action to follow

Graduated high school at Hickman County High, and my grandma lives off old Mill Creek in the hollars out there.

The guy that said Dickson is trashy is spot-on, but lol @ him being from Memphis and casting stones from his thin glass house.

It’s hard as frick to find folks in those woods.

ETA: Never dreamed I’d run into three posters on this site that even knew where Lyles was, much less in the same thread.
