At first I thought this was in St. Landry parish between Washington and Port Barre. There's a police helicopter hovering around their (my parents) home and landed on their property. Not sure what's going on right now.

I had some older NV that I traded for an optic.

I’m going to sweep the property now. This is a big sumbitch, 6’1” 260. I’ll hear him moving in the woods and I know the terrain well. If we meet out there, he’s fricked.

I don’t know, I don’t have a TV and don’t get phone alerts for some reason. My wife updates me from her facebook feed. She says the hunt has shifted West of where the cop was killed and that he was spotted very near us.
