Seen it in 2019. It was awesome. Got to speak to the captain of the ship. He happened to come aboard for an inspection. Neat experience.

If you’ve never had the opportunity to go on board, you should do so. It was an incredible experience. The crew was extremely engaging and told great stories. Enjoyed the Marines recounting their role in the 19th century Navy. Three of the navy crew did a gun drill too.
She is a thing of beauty. She’s built to be a ship of war, and I found it awesome how easy it was to tell that the minute you set foot on deck.

Yeah. Knew what a Grog bowl was because the Army has them at Dine-in's but I didn't know the history.

A few years back they sailed it on the Charles River for the 4th of July - I was on a run and didn't know it was happening and was blown away. So cool to see a ship that old on the water.
Lived a block away from the Constitution a few years back and would walk the dogs by it all the time. It really is a cool piece of history.

Great tour. Was able to see in person last summer and well worth the time. I recommend setting aside at least 2-3 hours for that and the adjacent museum. They shoot the cannon at sunset most days too. They sail 1 time a year for a couple of miles to keep it a "commissioned ship".
