I don't understand what the end state is with so much of this stuff. You demonize the police so they have a slow down and you're understaffed. You legalize low level street crime by not prosecuting it. You have a skyrocketing murder rate, and heroin, fentanyl and everything else is done openly and...what? Equity? Ppl think it's a conspiracy and they're going to destroy the system and build a socialist one in its place or whatever but fwiw I really think these people are just true believers.
The DAs in places like SF and Philly and Chicago really think that their communities were plagued by cops being too aggressive and really think they're going to flourish left alone. Instead they shoot each other and have mass burglary and looting. But a true believer can't admit they were wrong and people die as a result.
