Your time away from this board has refilled the basket of dupes.

Are you an MLB fan? A bunch of people I know love living in Houston, Chicago, San Diego, Denver, etc..to be able to watch a game at the ballpark whenever they want to.

Versus having to deal with downtown New Orleans to watch said Pro teams in person?

depends on the part of MS and part of Louisiana. Ocean Springs is nicer than most of LA and Madisonville is nicer than most of MS

I'd live in the Mandeville/Madisonville area over anywhere in Ms.

Big Astros fan. It’s only cool if you live near the stadium which near minutemaid , it’s cool if you’re a hobo or hood rat. It’s a lot of work making it all the way downtown for a game.

Right. And some cities like St. Louis and San Diego do a great job of having ample residential areas walking distance to the stadium to enjoy a ballgame.

Why the laughing emoji?
This area could be the top HIV research triangle in America

That’s a damn stupid reason to pick where to live. It should be a nice bonus and nothing more.

Interesting take, but I think you’re wrong.

Quality college? Ole miss & state aren’t much worse off than LSU. Get off your high horse.
High horse!?
Ha
This is a thread about Mississippi being better than Louisiana. You are on the high horse!
Louisiana is miles above Mississippi.
Mississippi is a joke of a state that refuses to rise above the level of a backward Hicksville
I enjoy bsl , pass Christian and ocean springs as places to visit occasionally but that is it
