Uh..she had a garrot around her neck...No head bash.
There was a ransom note written twice..
Who kills a kid and writes a whole page note? ..twice?...where the ransom was the EXACT amount of the Father's bonus that year. I do not believe the guy.

Also the garrot among other things.
Who will go that much trouble to assault her, kill her multiple times over, go upstairs and write a 3 page ransom note, then dress up the girl, and place her in one of the deepest basement rooms in the 7000 s.f. house?
And then leave without making any tracks, nor leave any DNA on pens, paper, etc.

Agree. The crazy knot used to tighten around her neck would have been known by the dad a possible taught to the brother. Brother did..... Parents decided to cover it up.
