Convicted killer Kenneth Gleason found dead at Angola

WEST FELICIANA PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A Baton Rouge man, who was convicted earlier this year and sentenced to life in prison for the racially motivated killings of two men in 2017, has been found dead at the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola, an attorney who represented him tells WAFB.
Attorney Jarret Ambeau, who was part of Kenneth Gleason’s defense team, says he was told Gleason’s death was reported as a heart attack.
One less peace of shite we have to waste money on.

The brother of a guy I know was incarcerated at Wade for nonviolent drug offenses. Over the course of a few days he kept telling them he was having chest pains until one morning they found him dead in his bunk. On the one hand, medical care is pretty sketchy. OTOH prisoners are complaining about shite all the time as an opportunity to malinger. On the third hand, they may consider a shank in the chest to be a cardiac event.
