I think the word you were looking for was redundant.

Yes a nice well planned athletic complex that attracts lots of out of state soccer/baseball/softball events somewhere in the southeast part of the state would be nice, but not in Nola East

Yes it’s a requirement

axiom:
a statement or proposition which is regarded as being established, accepted, or self-evidently true.

The mayor is actually one of the major roadblocks to this project. Even she isn’t convinced this is a good idea.

Oliver Thomas needs to let this one die. I know his constituents think it will be fun, but nobody that pays taxes wants this. It needs to become part of the port of New Orleans expansion where they can use it as container transport.

He's right. There won't be anything like it within a 5 or 6 hour drive until the next hurricane damages it to the point of abandonment.

Why does New Orleans continue to put up with such shitty leadership? (I know why. It's a rhetorical question.)

The city can't maintain what it already has. Who do they think they're fooling? "We gotta create more jobs." These fools need to get it through their heads that they don't know how to make money. They live off of taxpayers. They couldn't start a business if their life depended on it.

The city should have went striaght to the Port with this property.

Same with the Hebert building which they should have never agreed to take.

Just excavate all of New Orleans East to create a retention pond for the next great flood.

Brees can’t take a leak without the approval of Malcolm Jenkins and Michael Thomas. They said “no,” so he had no choice but to drop out.
