Very common. It is actually pretty risky to have the subs not have their own coverage. It is somewhat of a CYA. It also lowers the GC's premium significantly.

I didn't even mention that. All I told her was rental property maintenance. I guess she assumed that. Leaking roof or not, I would have thought a million dollar coverage would be plenty. Although that's on the low end coverage
