That council is a joke and always has been.
Pathetic the way this city is run.
At some point, it would be nice to have a mayor who will take this city out of the 80's.
Baton Rouge could be one of the most vibrant downtown cities in America as it sits right on the banks of the Mississippi but it is so far behind and will never catch up to more progressive cities.

The metro council has been a complete clown show ever since I can remember. It’s divided along racial and party lines, so it practically takes an act of Congress to get even simple things done. It’s ridiculous. It doesn’t help that BR has perhaps the dumbest human being ever to hold public office in Chauna Banks.
