I’m married with 3 kids and not looking to have any more kids. Like most would do in any medical situation, I’ve researched on my own and consulted physicians, however I’d like to get some input from people about the pros and cons of vasectomy. Obviously, the immediate effect is being able to go out in the rain without a raincoat is nice (do that anyway), but what is the downside? Is there a difference in the...performance end...? Is your libido negatively affected? Hopefully I won’t get lambasted too badly here...

U aren’t immediately shooting blanks. The magic number was 30-40 jerkoffs to get blanks.

Not bad at all honestly.

The amount of grown men willfully neutering themselves in today’s society is hilarious. Pull out method still works, baw

Follow the doctors orders. I went back to work that same day and poked that night.

I was sportin an eggplant for a week. Was not awesome.

Follow the doctors orders. You have to fire off about 20-30 rounds to flush the pipes and then make sure you get tested to make sure. Tell the wife you will do it as long as she gets a nurse outfit and helps with flushing the pipes and collecting the samples.

I was in your boat 5 years ago and stumbled onto an Internet forum for “post vasectomy pain syndrome” that scared me shitless.

So, now I have four kids.

Been clipped about 11 years. No difference in performance. For about the first 5 years I would get a random dull pain that lasted about 2 or 3 seconds then go away. Would do it again, recovery was not bad at all.

Nothing changes. You’ll get a little more sag, so if you’re not already wearing compression underwear, buy some. Vasectomies are the safest form of contraceptive, do it if you’re done having kids. There’s no “neutering” or anything emasculating.

No downsides for me, just do what the doc tells you and don't get macho and decide to go jogging on day 4 of recovery.

Best money I ever spent. It was uncomfortable for a few days, they swole up like oranges but wasn't bad. Sat on the couch binging tv with an ice pack.

Honestly was too bad. No sedation and just local. Chilled for 3 days with ice and pain killers. Went to work and tried not to overdue it. Wore the jock strap for two weeks bc when those things are swollen and hang it’s uncomfortable. Hold on the first time you take it out for a test drive after getting clipped.

Nothing to it. I got clipped bout 4 yrs ago and zero regrets. My doc recommended doing it on Friday and just chilling out the weekend with frozen bags of peas on your balls for a day or so. Of course no strenuous work/lifting for couple days. Have to jerk off in a cup for a few days for them to make sure all your lil swimmers are out.
