After experiencing a winter in the North. I'm really not sure why anyone would willingly live there.

Filled out a quick survey and gave ten solid recommendations. That is how I ended up where I am (upstate SC) and I am very happy. :)

17 out of my 24 matches are in Florida, the rest in Texas, Alabama & Mississippi

I see what you did there. Someone is a huge fan of a certain 90's sitcom.

Any of you know of any areas that meet all of our criteria?

You need to narrow it down further. If that's your only criteria then there are too many alternatives to list

Just have a winter home in AZ hendo. That's what all the Canadians(real ones from that country...not OT Canadians) do.

Seriously....many of the cars I see right now driving around here....Canadian license plates.

This doesnt make any sense at all. If you are solely leaving because you honestly think your kids will get a better education somewhere else, then your kids already have no chance.

You must have confined it to the SE.

It gave me Charlotte, NC as #1. Then Cincinnati, Portland, Knoxville, and Seattle.

Whoops, 24 matches, not 10. Even better! I remember Cincinnati, Knoxville, Raleigh, and Little Rock were some of my matches. Visited a few and ended up closer to Charlotte. :)

Most winter days in most northern metro areas are tolerable. Believe it or not, as long as it isn't windy and you bundle up well enough, cold is pretty easy to manage. We're going through some of the coldest February weather on record in the mid-Atlantic and I spent some time clearing branches from my yard this morning. No biggee.

Now when snow fricks up the roads and delays flights, yeah, it sucks.

I thought the same thing until I experienced real, actual seasons...especially spring and fall.

Winter is no big deal for me anymore, and it's currently -4 out right now where I'm at

I agree with that statement 100 percent. I've traveled all over the US and the world for that matter and there is no place I would rather live......
