So 20% of $11 pizza equals $2.20?

Seems like she got short changed on the small order.

Was she driving a Charger? It would explain a lot.

Next time OP, go get the shite yourself. Gas is $5 a gallon. If you can't afford to tip, then you can't afford the luxury of delivery.

And yeah go ahead and call her employer with your Karen shite. Next week you can pay her welfare

More and more people aren’t using cash. I know I don’t. Whenever I do happen to have some it stays in my wallet for weeks. Who wants to deal with crusty arse bills and change

Get off your lazy arse and go get your own pizza. Don't have to deal with malcontent delivery drivers.

Leave a bad yelp review. That will get their attention.

frick that. Why should I give my post-tax dollars to someone in cash when there is a 95% chance they won’t report it to the IRS and pay taxes on it? They can get it on their pay check and have the proper FICA and income taxes withheld just like me.

It’s not like OP didn’t tip. He gave a normal tip. The delivery driver was just a sourpuss because he wasn’t willing to participate in her tax fraud scheme.

If she is urban and or a rainbow warrior, I’ll call Pizza Hut. If she’s a normal looking kid who’s having a bad day, let it slide.

Not difficult.

Maybe it varies from joint to joint, but I've had drivers (Papa John's) thank me for a generous tip.

Are most satisfied with 5 bucks? Even if I order multiple pizzas they are doing the same thing. I’m giving a tip for them bringing it to me. They still have an hourly minimum wage. It’s a basic function that I feel rates that 5 bucks, not based off what I spent .

I know for some of the delivery apps the driver sees the tip prior to even accepting the order and it influences which ones they choose to accept.

Man, I’m convinced that many of these young people are in for an extraordinarily difficult time just pulling off the basics of human relations to do anything more than deliver pizzas. It’s sad really that they haven’t been taught any better than that, but more so, they simply don’t seem to even be aware how in poor taste their behavior is.

You should invite her to church, and tell her to bring her friends with her.
