Is the PGT Beauregard monument on the removal list? While this whole removal plan is ridiculous I can slightly understand why some people would want random ones removed. But it's a removal of Louisiana history to remove that one and designed to rewrite history and keep the populace ignorant of history. History is already barely taught in schools anymore. The man was born, died, and buried in Louisiana and a major figure in the Civil War. Yeah the guy fought for the Confederacy but we can't help that. We also live in Louisiana which was a Confederate state and guess what.. we can't help that either. Learn history and improve the future from the mistakes of the past. Don't erase history to turn the populace into cattle.
