FTR, Edwards doesn't assign bills to committees in either the house or senate... That would fall under the duties of the senate prez and the house speaker... Just wanted to point that out.

I know, but he did have a bit to do with Alario assigning it to that committee, where they knew it would fail.
It was a waste of time. I think the house bill will pass and it will go straight to the senate. After that, they can avoid Edwards altogether by putting it on the ballot.
Can the statues survive until then? Who knows, but something tells me they will.
