Maybe they can stop some squirrels or something?

I'll take them off your hands and give them to my sons to play with.

Bapple is very good. I've taken his course. Very knowledgeable. Taught my dad who is more than twice his age many new things about handgun technique

You're clearly mistaken. 9mm has plenty stopping power and also allows for more rounds to fit in a magazine. The average hit rate for civilians is around 13% I believe. Average hit rate for Leo is around 25%.

Well as I said she already has a 9mm.

I have 2 Colt .45 1911. One I bought for myself a few years ago and my father gave me his before he died that he carried all over the South Pacific during WWII. Nice to have and I shoot it too.

But too big to conceal carry.

Firearm basics (parts of the weapon - revolver and semi-auto [it's NOT a "clip"]).

The CCP statute

Shoot/don't shoot law (statute and caselaw).

Hypothetical malfunctions and how to clear them.

Range time - basic proficiency.

I know, and understand completely why you'd want to go with something different. I was just responding specifically to your statement that:

It has plenty of stopping power.

And congrats on the 1911. My brother has one given to him by his FIL, from WWII as well. I would love to have one.

I'm not even going to argue this, because stopping power in a pistol round is a myth.
