The few hundred dollars a month or everyone once in a while large purchase on your AMEX doesn't really make that much of a difference. Surely not enough to justify canceling a costco membership. You think Costco gives a flying shite about Golfer from TD and whether he has a membership or not?

I barely hit the spending threshold to get bonus MQMs for my Skymiles account that bumps me up to the next medallion level and saves me about $500-1000 a year traveling because of that bump.

I gotcha. Well more power to you. I use my AMEX for everything too however it's not worth canceling our Costco membership because they don't take AMEX. we just use our debit card.

How much do you travel?
I've been trying out the Delta Reserve this year and love it so far. The free lounge access comes in handy during the winter delay season. I get a lot of layovers being based out of Pittsburgh.
Give it a shot if you travel a lot for work especially out of BTR or MSY.

I see. My problem is I use a business plat card through my company and then a plat card for just my wife and I. Wish we could combine all those points.

I've been to the one they just opened here and didn't really see anything that would justify a membership. I don't go to Sam's either though
