As I recall, clearing the cobwebs from my memory, Raising Cane's tried to stay in Baton Rouge, but Todd Graves, or some other high level executive, said that the company could not convince high level managers, financiers, and other very talented individuals, to move to Baton Rouge.

Between our wonderful infrastructure (aka daily I-10 parking lot), and award-winning school system, high achievers refused to move their families to the paradise known as Baton Rouge.

Not Louisiana born but Shell's biggest North American presence throughout the 20th century was in NOLA... my dad worked for them for years. They packed up and moved everything to Houston.

They still have a decent amount of people in Nola supporting offshore stuff. As a matter of fact, they are currently in construction for their own office building a little upriver from the Convention center.

They have a large location here, but I think they moved HQ to Nashville.

C suite moved to Nashville from what I remember. Not sure they have that space anymore.

HQ I think had or has a place off Sherwood.
