I bet it's the one by Jetson. The one you mention is farther from Zachary than Port Hudson and Slaughter.

This intersection is in West Feliciana Parish so I'm assuming that's not the right one

Zachary isn't really made up of upper middle class white people. Almost half of the students that go to school there receive either reduced or free lunch.

which we want to frick up by jamming 692 homes on 128 acres. which means small lots with lots of crowding. then when we can't get $200K-$300K for them- cause its another cramped cookie cutter style hood- we'll sell them for a reduced rate to the demographic that destroys the type of place we say we wanted to be.

Would Zachary allow lot sizes narrower than 40'?

I guess technically they are trying to get TND approval which gives them a lot of flexibility. I guess it could work if it was on land that wasn't prone to flooding and included desirable retail and amenities.

Seems like the preference in Zachary is for 50' wide (or wider) lots though.

There's a 186 acre tract for sale between Groom and Heck Young Rd on the west side. Wonder if that's where they are talking about rather than across from the prison.

It was in Baton Rouge business report. It is the property direct across from Jetson Correctional Facility. It will have access to both 61 and Old Scenic Highway.
