I keep a can of folgers in the back of the pantry in case I ever run out of community. It's definitely better than no coffee.
Maybe I’m a genius or something.. idk.. but I just thought of something. Why not keep an extra can of Community in case you run out of the first can of Community?

Cafe Lareno. On Amazon. I've had hundreds of types of coffee. This is the Pappy 23 of coffee. French press or pour over if you have the time. Life's too short to drink crap coffee.

Bingo. Community is very average once you get out into the real work and try good coffee. And I’m not a snob. Community is what I drink 75% of the time.

I drink Community more than most, because that’s what is at the office. I do not buy either for the house. I’ve spent enough time out of the country to realize that despite how amazing America is, we have fallen short when it comes to coffee.

when my wife and i first started living together, she made ~$20k/year. I was paying all the bills. rightfully so. She was also in charge of ordering groceries.

She would buy these massive tubs of Folgers. After about 3 months, we got in an argument because i told her I was happy with the fact she was trying to save $$$, but coffee wasn’t something I was willing to go cheap on. From then on, we bought Community Coffee.

I just can’t do it, it’s gross compared to CC

That's why Race Trac is superior to CC, Starbucks and the like.

100%. When on the road, I'll go to several stations until I find one that grinds the beans for each cup. Makes all the difference in the world.

I'm at a client this week and they only had Folgers K cups. It's downright tolerable if you press the "Strong" button and add sugar.

But CC is my go-to at home, work, and camp.

I like the coffee that's roasted closest to me. In Baton Rouge that's Community, in New Orleans that's Folgers

Where does Community actually roast their beans? I thought that they were roasted in some far away place because Ive never heard the location of the roasting facilty. I'm very likely wrong though and never bothered to actually investigate.

I'll switch up coffee now and then and am currently drinking Maxwell House Dark Silk and it's actually pretty good.

Walmart discontinued carrying it so I scored some on Amazon, but it's currently out of stock so maybe it's kaput. Hope not.

Coffee is provided at my office. It was so bad that I started bringing community and the whole office eventually converted.

They have a roasting facility in Port Allen just over the bridge (south side).
