Isn't forcing people to put their hand over their heart or take off their hat during a nationalistic song well.. Kind of nationalist?
Apparently this Is a law under United States penal code Title 36, Chapter 10. There is no penalty listed for failure to comply, but it’s still a law.
Specifically: “During a rendition of the national anthem… (B) men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold the headdress at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart…”
I find the whole thing pretty silly to get mad at anyone who doesn't do it.

Do kids in public schools even say the Pledge of Allegiance before classes start anymore? Makes me sick when citizens do not know the correct protocol.
