Coming home from work and seeing a water leak going down your bathroom wall

sucks monkey balls big time. Now, I have to gut damn near my entire master bath. Every time when you think you're just about to turn the corner to get ahead, life slaps you across your damn face and asks you "Where the hell are you going?" I fricking can't win for losing all the damn time.
Ok, my rant is over. I just needed to get that off my chest. Carry on as normal.

Started in the attic and leaked down the exterior wall of the bathroom. The water was running the entire time while we were out at work during the day.

Depending on the cause of the leak, your homeowners insurance may cover part of the repair cost after the deductible.

We have a leak coming up out of the floor next to the bathroom. All walls are dry.

Yep, my inlaws drain under their sink backed up and flooded their kitchen while they were at work. Homeowners (Farm Bureau) paid for new bottom cabinets, etc

I came home one time and one of our outside cats had gotten in the house secretly, rubbed its body on the faucet in the master bath and turned it on full blast. Apparently, while doing this, it also made a rag laying on the side slide down into the bowl, blocking the drain a bit. There was a couple of inches of water on half the bottom floor of the house. That also sucked monkey balls.

It's covered, but it's such a pain to have to go through all this especially with the house only being 5 years old.

No, you need to call your insurance and have them send someone to: find the problem, dry your house out, fix the water damage & then fix the plumbing problem. Should be wrapped up in 8 months. Sorry brah
