Bottom line: satellite TV is an inferior product to cable TV.
Uh no. I may be part of the cord cutters right now. However, I've had cable TV and directv. The product directv puts out is leaps and bounds better than charter TV.

Scruffy dropped Comcast for At&t, along with nearly all of the people in his neighborhood.
HD channels with DVR, internet speeds almost double what we were at, and for $50 less.
Screw Comcast.

Can't speak for charter but Cox Cable TV is leaps and bounds better than satellite TV. Don't believe me. Here's an objective comparison: LINK Bottom line: if you cable is available in your area and you can afford it (yea, it's more expensive), you get a higher quality, more reliable product.

I respectfully disagree. Directv is much better than Cox. Better quality, price, reliability, and customer service.

DirecTV is better on all of those.

Didn't they start this thing with the "Don't be a dish head" campaign?

now Comcast is getting the BBB to fight DirecTV over the ads
Fight them how, and on what grounds?
"Um, yeah...these guys' marketing efforts are working too well, can you get in there and stop that from continuing? Thanks."
Ridiculous.

I know it's far from a sure thing, and I'm sure it can be abused, or can be meaningless depending on the circumstances, but, again, I appreciate what they are trying to do. By conception, It's a positive market solution (albeit a limited one) to a common free market hazard - lack of information and lack of accountability.
ehh. i get the sentiment there, but it's basically a pay to play situation. Pay into our system as a system and then it can work our for you, might not, but at least you gave us money.
I have a bit of a skew on there due to some things like the Gartner Magic Quadrant, but I don't like things like that.

The BBB is a huge scam and anyone that has run a business knows this.
Got tired of paying the $600 a year just to use the logo as well?

The DirecTV Rob Lowe commercials are apparently working and now Comcast is getting the BBB to fight DirecTV over the ads.
Are they sure things like this aren't the problem?
