Combat dog.

Bicyclist.

That's enough detail.

When I was a kid I would absolutely ride my bike away from a particular street because a German Shepard would always come running up on me trying to bite my tires and it was faster than I could ride. I don't blame that guy. If he was truley getting atacked then I would have shot the dog too.

Long story short, keep your dog on a leash or it's your fault that your dog dies.

So we're supposed to believe the unstable man's account of the situation?

Who the frick rides their bike with a gun? and happens to shoot a hero dog? I call total bullshite.

Well think of the flip side:

You think he was riding along and one handedly shot a dog minding his own business on a porch as he rode along?

At BEST it is a tragic story of a large dog running at full sprint to play and someone interpreted it as an attack.

He wanted to shoot a poor, innocent Dog that was just going to the store for kibble, minding his own doggy business.

Some tPOS like to rob people on the biking trails around here, sometimes. Some of those bikes are worth a shite ton of money. I have a co-worker that carries while riding.

I have a friend who was warming up for a race and was chased down by a dog. Dog knocked him off the bike and tore him up pretty bad. He had to have 6 surgeries and can no longer ride competitively. Owner of that dog said they didn't know he had gotten out, but did not believe he would attack anyone as he was such a sweet dog who never hurt a fly.

I carry a pistol when I go jogging/walking with my daughter in her stroller. If I rode more I would think about carrying then also. Too many morons rescue/have dangerous breeds these days. If one gets loose and is approaching me in an aggressive manner I'm not waiting to find out if it just wants to play.

Doesn't sound like your friend was fast enough to be racing competitively.

And it doesn't sound like you've ever seen how quickly a pit can get up to full sprint when they're locked on to something?

I've actually been attacked by a pit, although not during a bike race, or any competition for that matter.

frickers are powerful and quick. I was standing still though and the dog took a cheap shot. TPOS.

No. I'm just saying that this was a shepherd breed there's a reason why shepherd breeds are working dog breeds.

At the same time the service dog should have never been away from his owner.

Lance Armstrong wanna be was looking for this.
What is his name ? I will ruin him online and get him fired.

Would you do the same to the hundreds of cops that kill dogs annually?

Yea, its funny. Change a few slight details in this story and you'd get an entirely different reaction from some people.
