I find it hard to believe that anyone can see those numbers. They are way to obscured if they are there.

I wanted to be a Marine aviator, but I could not past this stupid test. I could sort of see some numbers, but the doctor said "sort of" doesn't count. LOL
I used to piss of the nurses/techs/flight surgeons that would give eye tests, they would say something like read the smallest line you can read and I'd read everything in the room that was microscopic or smaller

Funny story: back in the Vietnam War draft days, physicals were given in the old Customs House on Canal. Bus loads came in from all over the State, we were examined, head to toe & everywhere in between, groups of 16 at each station. This good ol'boy, pure D red neck type, was along side me & I could here him going "green, green, green, green", as in that was all he was seeing as the test was administered. That's not how color blindness works, as noted here. This huge black Sargent walked up & loud enough for the whole room to hear, "Son, that's not how this works. Now, do it right or get comfortable as you are going to be here all day". Presume he did it right.

I'm color blind too. Can't see any of the numbers on those tests.

They were all easy except the 3rd one. I knew the number on the right was a 3 but couldn't tell if the number on the left was a 1 or a 7 but knew it was one of those.

The responses are interesting. I had no idea color blindness was so common.

See 17 on the 2nd, everything else is blank.
Found out I was colorblind in college. I was reading a biology textbook when they showed a side by side pic - one supposed to be normal and one what red green colorblind people see...they looked the same to me...and that prompted me to start googling some color plates.
When I started residency after medschool, they had everyone do quick health screening tests etc, one was a colorblind test. Whoever was giving the colorblind plate had no idea how it actually worked. When I told him that I couldn't see any numbers on the plate, he said I had to write something down on the line...so I put a random number down and he was like... "close" .

Bombed the hell out of that test. I saw a 17 on the second one and had no luck on the rest.

Years ago, wife says "why the hell are you buying all these green suits?" I said "they are not green, that's why."
Turns out I was buying all the atrocious green suits they had at the store.
